DrADVO is designed as a patient-controlled, device-local health information companion. Our mission is to help individuals clearly understand their medical history, labs, therapies, care-team interactions, and upcoming decisions — while keeping their data secure and under their personal control.
DrADVO is not a medical provider, not a covered entity under HIPAA, and not a replacement for medical care. It is a consumer personal-health tool that enables clearer conversations between patients and clinicians.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- The DrADVO mobile app (iOS/Android, beta v6.x)
- The DrADVO website
- The DrADVO GPT tool in ChatGPT
- Early beta users and advisory clinicians
2. Information DrADVO Collects
DrADVO collects the minimum information needed to operate.
From the app (stored on your device only):
- Basic profile information you enter
- Apple Health Records data (only categories you approve)
- Uploaded documents (PDF, FHIR JSON, C‑CDA XML, imaging reports)
- Manually entered symptoms, medications, treatments, and notes
From the website:
- Contact information you send (e.g., email to join waitlist)
- Basic technical logs (no third‑party ad trackers)
From the DrADVO GPT tool:
- Your conversations stay in your ChatGPT account under OpenAI policies.
- DrADVO does not receive, store, or access these chats.
3. Where Your Data Lives
- All PHI in the DrADVO app stays on your device.
- DrADVO does not run PHI servers.
- No syncing, uploading, or cloud storage by DrADVO.
- No AI model training on your medical data.
4. Apple Health Records
If you connect Apple Health Records:
- DrADVO reads only categories you approve.
- Data is processed locally on your device.
- No sharing with third parties or servers.
5. ChatGPT Conversations
- Stored in your ChatGPT account only.
- Managed under OpenAI’s data controls.
- DrADVO cannot access your ChatGPT account or chats.
6. Beta Program & Advisory Use
Advisory clinicians may optionally provide feedback. Any shared examples must be de‑identified unless explicit consent is provided.
7. Exports & Sharing
- All exports are user‑initiated only.
- Files are generated and shared from your device.
- No automatic sharing.
8. Security
- Device‑level encryption (iOS/Android)
- No third‑party advertising SDKs
- Privacy‑by‑design engineering practices
9. Children
Not intended for children under 13. No intentional data collection from minors.
